GPAEI Empowerment

Regional and International Outreach

The Global Peace Advocacy and Empowerment Initiative (GPAEI) implements Peace Empowerment Outreaches across conflict-affected regions in Nigeria to foster dialogue, reconciliation, and sustainable peace at the grassroots level. These outreaches are designed to directly engage communities experiencing tension or violence—bringing together traditional rulers, community leaders, religious figures, youth representatives, and women’s groups to identify root causes of conflict and develop collaborative solutions. GPAEI facilitates peace dialogues, mediation sessions, and empowerment workshops that equip participants with conflict-resolution skills, leadership tools, and socio-economic opportunities to promote stability. By partnering with chiefs, kings, and other respected local authorities, the initiative leverages traditional systems of governance and indigenous wisdom to rebuild trust and strengthen social cohesion. Through consistent engagement, GPAEI not only addresses immediate security concerns but also empowers communities to take ownership of their peace processes—transforming areas once defined by division into spaces of cooperation, understanding, and shared progress.
